We are so pleased with the work that the Resin Bound team did. We had rather a unique project that we asked for their help with; a creative public installation in Stroud, on the pavement of a bus shelter! The project was with Brimscombe & Thrupp Parish Council, and Studio 18, in the summer of 2020.
They were so helpful and patient with explaining the different options, and installed it really efficiently. It has been several months since it was completed and their work look as it did in 2020 – a total testament to the quality of materials and expertise. It has withstood being on a public pavement in a well0used area, so we can’t recommend them highly enough.
We have had numerous compliments on their work, we are so grateful and pleased, and sure that it will be there for quite some years to come!
Ray provided a quote on the spot and when I agreed he gave me a date to do the work and turned up as promised. Despite poor weather, Ray carried out the work as he said he would and was very tidy, leaving no mess at all. It looks very good and hopefully, when fully set, will give us years of service. Would recommend looking no further than Ray if you want a resin bound finish.
Tewkesbury Abbey had a concrete path which was in a very bad state of repair, we decided to have a new resin bound path and employed Ray from Resin Bound Driveway Specialist to undertake the work, we are very pleased with the path and the overall effect is attractive and pleasant to walk on, Ray and his team where hard working and conscientious, they even came back on a Saturday to clean up ! We are very happy with our new path and would definitely use this company again in the future.
Ray and his team worked tirelessness laying my resin driveway and limestone patio. They were all very respectful and hardworking throughout the project. I found Ray to be approachable and responsive when discussing the progress and he kept me fully informed throughout.
As a pensioner, I was happy to accept Ray Walton’s competitive quotation for resurfacing my driveway with resin. One hears of rogue traders who try to add unforeseen “extras” to the final bill: Ray did precisely the opposite. He suggested an improvement to the original proposals, which meant additional time and materials, but did not charge a penny more. He even volunteered to dig up and dispose of some invasive plants while his team was on site.

We are very pleased with the work Ray did on our driveway. We had originally chosen a single colour but, at Ray’s prompting, agreed to a two colour finish which really adds to the visual impact at the front of the house. We also arranged for the existing block paving to be recycled to replace an existing gravel path in our back garden and that looks really good. Ray was courteous throughout and managed his subcontractors well.
I had two areas of the exterior of my cottage that needed attention. One was the driveway and parking area, and the other the Patio. The stone covered drive and parking areas needed more stones, weeding and more defined boundary edges. The Patio had York Paving Stones which were very slippery when wet. While I considered what action to take, Ray Walton delivered a publicity leaflet for his company – Resin Bound Driveway Specialists. After some research, I invited Ray to visit to discuss what might be done and how much it would cost. A visit was quickly arranged and I was impressed by his knowledge and helpful advice about what might be done and by the reasonable cost. He explained exactly what would be done and how long the work would take.
Having accepted the quotation, the work started much sooner
I am delighted with the finished product. I now have a driveway that looks smart, with clearly defined edges at the entrance and for the borders, a non-slip and weed-free surface, plus a safe pathway around the patio with no fear of slipping or falling on wet York Paving Stones.
I have no hesitation in recommending the product or the pleasant and hard-working team.
